The above are selected images from a set of sixteen photo-haiga created for an art show and artist’s book in 2012. (Please see prior publication credits for Echo and the haiku of deep winter at the end of this post).
More haiga from this series can be viewed at Daily Haiga:
AHA! is inspired by my rambles through the forests, farmlands and barrens of Bruce County, camera in hand to record whatever catches my fancy at the moment. Often it is the small and the quiet in the vastness of landscape and time.
MATERIALS and DIMENSIONS
The framed prints and the book pages were inkjet-printed on Epson Fine Art paper with Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks.
The book case covering is grey-blue Moriki Kozo, the interior white Kizuki Kozo.
THE ART SHOW
AHA! was shown at the Bruce County Public Library, Walkerton Branch (above) and Chesley Branch.
Echo: A version of the haiga has been published at Daily Haiga:
deep winter: The haiku has been published in The Touch of a Moth, The 35th Annual Haiku Canada Members’ Anthology, 2012
